Walt Disney World's Seasonal Ticketing Prices

Hello my fellow Disney lovers, i am sorry for having not posted in so long. But this post is extremely important especially for those who do not have seasonal/annual passes.

On February 28, 2016 Disney has implemented seasonal ticketing prices. The seasonal pricing has come about after much research, the three different categories have come about due to the counting of ticket purchases for each day/weekends and the number of guest entrances (of all 4 parks) on a daily basis.  The schedules are available online (will link below) and come in three different categories: Value, Regular and Peak.

Value will be $97.00 for Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT/ Magic Kingdom is starting at $105
The prices are meant for the days that have been known to hold fewer guests at all four parks. From looking at the schedule online there are not that many of them. February 28-March 3 and then August 22-September 29 are the only value days left in the year.  Also, these prices were the original prices before this new update.

Regular will be $102.00 for Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT/ Magic Kingdom is starting at $110
Regular pricing is a bit more expensive than Value prices. Before all Peak days/weeks there are the Regular priced days.

Peak will be $114.00 for Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT/ Magic Kingdom is starting at $124
Obviously these are the more expensive days that every one should avoid unless it is for the Holiday season! It begins March 11- April 2, June 272- August 23.

This is the link to the new prices https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/

I really want to know what you guys think about the new seasonal ticketing prices. Email me at disneymaniaa95@gmail.com :)

Upgraded Star Tours

Hey guys!

Sorry I have been away for so long but I am back with some new and exciting stuff! This past Tuesday (December 08) it was my 20th birthday and all I wanted was to go see Star Wars Launch Bay and the new version of Star Tours and that wish came true!

I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios early Monday morning and my inner Star Wars child was in full effect that day. As soon as we got into the park we rushed over to get my "Happy Birthday" button. Right after that we rushed over to my favorite restaurant Backlot Express, which is located between Indiana Jones and Star Tours. On the way all of the friendly Cast Members wished me a "magical birthday" Once I got to Backlot Express I saw that they had Star Wars merchandise and I had to get my hands on one of them for my birthday of course. They have a TIE Fighter filled with Caramel Corn, a Chewie, BB-8 and Boba Fett Stein, and a Han Solo souvenir bucket. I ended up getting the BB-8 stein and I am in love with this purchase!

Now onto the real story! After we had eaten we went on Star Tours and for the first time in awhile it was packed... The wait was about 20 minutes long and the queue was the same except the droid changed its sayings but that is about it. For the actual ride, it all changed! C-3PO and R2-D2 are still our flight attendant (per say).. BB-8 shows up a couple of times and he is the cutest droid ever (besides R2 of course). Finn and Rey do make short appearances in this upgrade as well as.

I was crying the entire ride because I was so happy that the old has been brought back with the new! On the bottom I am going to attach some pictures like I always do!

May the force be with you all on this fine Saturday!

Hiya Folks!

Sorry I have not been posting lately, it has been kinda crazy over here! But I do have great news, I went to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSH), this past Sunday (October 18). I cannot begin to explain in words how amazing this experience was! I have never been MNSSH and I could not have gone if it wasn't for my amazing Godmother and Uncle..

MNSSH is definitely a must, if you have little ones or not! There was a bunch of older couples and people my age (young adult) all dressed up. It was amazing to see everyone's costume young and old, you could see all of the detail they put into their homemade costumes. On the monorail to the park there was a family in front of us and the boys were all Wilderness Explorers and the mom and grandma were Kevin (Up) and it was the best thing in the world. The Kevin costume was handmade as well as the Wilderness Explorer hats, sashes and the badges. Also we saw this old couple and they were dressed up as the ghosts from Haunted Mansion and the detail was "scaringly" great!

The parade "Boo To You" was one of the best Disney parades I have ever seen! We sat right in front of The Main Street Confectionary and it was a great spot. We were right at the end of the sidewalk so the characters were coming up to us and the interaction was like none other. I personally love the villains of the Disney movies and to have a parade solely dedicated to them and all of their bad ways was amazing! Below I will attach a picture of the parade and how close were to it!

On the back of this float Pain and Panic (Hercules) were locked up in cages. I can honestly say that I have never seen them in costume or anywhere in any of the four parks so, it was great to see them on a float!

All in all I believe MNSSH was a great experience and everyone should go this 'ghostly' party!

Hey y'all!

Today is October 15th and on this day in 1998 Fatasmic was introduced to Hollywood Studios, previously MGM (my family and I still call it MGM). If you have yet to see this amazing show I highly recommend it. This 26 minute show is located on Sunset Blvd at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.

*A little side-note: this show was originally in Disneyland; California Adventures and it started over there in 1992 and the only other Disneyland that has it is, is Disneyland Tokyo*

This show has scenes from The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, Mulan and even Snow White. Then, the show gets taken over by the infamous villains of these movies and more. Some of the villains that steal the show include: Ursula (The Little Mermaid) , Jafar (The Lion King) , Judge Frollo (Hunchback of Notre Dame) , Hades (Hercules) , Ratcliff (Pocahontas) and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty). But of course Mickey wins the battle against Maleficent. At the end of the show all of the characters come out and even Steamboat Willie makes an appearance! The boat has all of the characters that appear in the show as well as characters that are rarely seen throughout all four parks such as: Geppetto (Pinocchio) , King Louie (Jungle Book) , Baloo (Jungle Book) , Rafiki (The Lion King) etc.

Here are a few facts because who doesn't love a little bit of facts??
- The show is about 26 minutes from beginning to end.
- In the middle of the amphitheatere there is a a 57.5 foot tall mountain which surrounded by a moat.
- This moat holds up to about 1.9 million gallons of water at one time!
- The depths in the moat vary from around a foot to about 6 feet toward the middle of the mountain.

Above is the Concept Art for when the show Fantasmic was first thought of

If you have yet to see this show at Hollywood Studios I definitely recommend it!

Hiya guys!

So today I could not remember for the life of me when Disney's Animal Kingdom opened. I was racking my brain trying to figure it out and twenty minutes later, I had finally given up and Googled it. Animal Kingdom opened on April 22, 1998 which is hilarious because my sister, LeAnn, was born August 21, 1998. So naturally I text my family on our group message and we had all actually gone to opening of this park!

Okay, so all of you have seen the Animal Kingdom logo right? Well if you have not or don't remember I will attach a picture to jog your memory..

Above is the logo and in the middle there is a dragon but if you have gone to Animal Kingdom at all in your life you will notice that there are no dragons or anything "mythical" in this park. Well, when Animal Kingdom was first thought of there was supposed to be a separate places for mythical creatures hence the dragon! This magical land was to be named "Beastly Kingdom" but due to budget cuts it never happened. Instead this space is now used for Camp Minnie-Mickey and other character meet-and-greets. I thought this was extremely interesting and I couldn't imagine a "Beastly Kingdom" at this park. I think it could have been awesome!

Let me know what you guys think!

Disney's Moana

Hey guys!

So I don't know about you guys but I love to watch movies especially if they are Disney! I am extremely excited for the brand new Polynesian princess Moana. A set date has not come out as of yet but we do know it is expected to be released in 2016.

Above is the Concept Art released at this years D23 Expo, California.

Well, this past week Disney came out and said they have chosen the voice behind the new gorgeous Polynesian Princess. The lucky girl's name is Auli'i Cravalho and she is 14. Carvalho is the youngest actress to play a Disney Princess. She is from Oahu, Hawaii and is the cutest thing ever and I personally think she is the best fit for this new fun loving princess. If you have not seen the video of her and her journey here is the link: https://youtu.be/QO7K-6x4xCQ . Also, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays the demi-god Maui. Watch it and comment or email me what you think about her and if you think she is the perfect match..
